I have added a short biography of Senesino (Francesco Bernardi) to the ARTICLES section. There already is much information in books and on the web about this famous singer; however, this posting may act as a convenient reference.
A second reason that I added this posting is simply to have something new for members to read. I have noticed that there is a distinct absence of hoped-for contributions from other informed members. Members even may have ceased checking that section for anything new. Each of us stands to learn more, and I eagerly have awaited interesting contributions that I could enjoy.
So, I again am encouraging members to select useful topics and to prepare informative submissions for our site. Enlightening comments and replies to existing articles threads are welcome, too.
