Hi everyone, I'm Jireh from Singapore and I'm 18 this year.
Yes i know I'm pretty young compared to all of you, and I'm very interested to learn from all the experiences the senior members of this forums would have =D
I've been singing soprano ever since my choir conductor told me 2 years ago to sing in falsetto because i was the only guy in my school choir. started out in the alto section and then changed to soprano 1 after discovering my higher falsetto extension. i fell in love with falsetto singing quickly.
now I'm in the tenor section of my current school choir (i've graduated from the previous school) and my falsetto has deproved abit due to the excessive use of chest voice. My real voice is a bass by the way and i sing the high notes of tenor with my fasletto which is stronger than most ppl. (it's okay in choral but not in operatic singing)
My vocal range is approximately D2 to C6 from chest to head, with C2 counted in during a good day. can go much higher with the whistle register but i can't really control it so i don't count it in my vocal range.
I'm still very lousy compared to most of the pro singers out there, and i'm mostly self trained. I hope i can improve as time passes by. Sopranists ftw!
I currently do not have much videos or recordings of myself singing, so all i can offer is a recent video of a choral recording done by me =) (it was a bad voice day when i recorded it btw, so the quality may not be that nice)

Thanks,
Jireh
