Default Hello

Hello everyone

My name is Dominic and I am eighteen years old. I am in fact Welsh, but am currently studying at a boarding school in France. I sing bass in my school choir and I have been fortunate enough to sing at the university of Oxford (Blackfriars hall) and for Sunday mass at the oratory, both as a bass. Recently however, a number of altos and sopranos have left the school choir and I have been covering the alto and even the soprano parts in my falsetto register.

Since singing alto I have developed an interest in the 'high' men's voice and would now like to become a permanent countertenor. This all said and done, I am sure my choir-master will not take my news well; he'll probably throw a metronome at me. hahaha

When I am able to, I will post a few videos or sound-bites on here for you to comment on.

Best wishes

Welcome Dominic (:

I'm an 18-year-old student in Iceland and have been resting my voice for a while but am training as a countertenor. So what kind of music do you like? Who are your favourite singers?

( For Ildivorenatello ) Do you mean that his avatar did not provide a clue to his age? Clever lad, isn't he?

An eternal young symbol made me think also that Puer is an old decrepit;Who may say that is eternal young if not an old(er) man? the older people put masks of young teens... and how an 18 years old knows that he will be young forever?
